I stumbled upon this fantastic TED talk by Ben Zander (conductor of the Boston Phil). His charisma transforms an audience that is barely awake and completely unresponsive to rapturous applause at the E minor Chopin he performs towards the end.

I might be preaching to the converted on this blog but I found it entertaining, having struggled through that piece 10 years ago…
